Just curious if anybody else got in on the good deal they had. They had the Stevens model 200 which is made by Savage marked down to 200 dollars in any caliber. I made it down to the Spokane store and picked up a 270 and a 243. I was down there today and they were sold out. |

I saw that but didn't grab one. I was impressed by the smoothness of the bolt but not much else on those unfortunately. Their stocks are a very loud plastic. If you can find a good rubberized coating spray, you could camo it up and quiet it down real nice. How have they shot? |

I bought a 22-250 four years ago and it is a tack driver. I shot the 243 yesterday and am very impressed at 100yds. I did take a few shots out at 200 but not really enough to make a sound judgment. They really are great guns for accuracy. |
