We added some additional field options in the profile area if you wish to update your profile. The extra fields are optional and you can access this by logging in and editing your profile.
We may add to or change some of these fields in the near future, and as always, we encourage you to make suggestions and leave comments in regards to every aspect of this site.

As i'm sure most of you have noticed, we have made a few changes to the site.
From time to time we will be working on the back-end in both design and function in ways we hope will better your experience as a member of this site.
As always, feedback is always encouraged and we would like to get some ideas on how we might be able to improve this site as well as how we may be able to improve the Classifieds site.
No matter how silly you might think your idea/s are, please don't hesitate to let us know.

There's a scheduled maintenance time on this system that will start tonight at approximately 10pm PST and end at approximately 3am PST Saturday morning.

Updates for the most part are completed.
We still have some work to do on our end, but please resume your normal use while we get things back up to par.
If you experience further downtime it should be very minimal.

Attached images will now show up as "actual size", so there's no need to click on a thumbnail image to view the larger version.
Something to keep in mind though is that you will want to re-size the image prior to attaching it in a post or thread. If the image/picture is too wide it will stretch the page and make things look funky.
If you're not sure how to re-size an image, or don't have a program to do so, send me the pic/s in an email and I will re-size them for you, and send them back to you in an email. I can help you with thread/post pictures, as well as profile and avatar images.
Picture sizes are measured in pixels. For instance.. 1000x750 means that a picture/image is 1000 pixels wide by 750 pixels in height.
A good rule of thumb is to keep your pictures/images under 800 pixels in width for posts, threads, and profile pictures. The height doesn't matter.
I like to scale my pictures down to 600 pixels in width. You can make yours smaller or bigger, but keep them under 800 pixels wide.
Avatars are 100x100 exactly regardless of the actual picture size, so when you resize an image for your avatar, make sure it's 100X100 pixels exactly. If it's larger than that, it will shrink the picture to fit and you will lose picture quality. If it's smaller than that, it will stretch the picture to fit and again you will lose picture quality.

Also, we are working on getting everyone their own photo album within the site to make things much easier in regards to pictures. This may be a while out, so until then we gotta make do.
