The pheasant hatch doesn't look very good but there's birds out there. Quail and huns are ok though. Anybody out there doing any good yet. Post up your pics and stories. We'd love to hear from you. __________________

It's been quite a few years since i've beat my feet over pheasant hunting, but I sure miss it! I stopped hunting pheasant when my shorthaired pointer escaped from her pen and ran away. It has crossed my mind many times to get back after em though, and I may within the next season or two. Had many good times out in the field, and would love to get back into it. __________________

I was driving around on 5 mile prairie and seen 5 roosters sitting in a tree. i guess they don't like deep snow either. Ive been out to fish trap 3 times this year and only got one shot off at a real nervous bird. haven't been back there since the first of December. |

I am looking forward to next season. My father just got a new shorthair. My shorthair is 5 years old so he is in his prime. It should be fun to watch the dogs work. |

I always wanted to try my hand at bird hunting. Ive never been though, I do have a shotgun that I am pretty good with at the trap range.
Does anyone have any advice on the subject? __________________ Tell them of us and say for their tommorrow we gave our today |
